St Albans Architectural Curve

Feel the Rhythm is an award-winning St Albans home built by SC Projects, recognised with a Regional Gold Award and the Regional Plumbing World Bathroom Excellence Award at the 2026 Registered Master Builders House of the Year awards.
Bromley Steel fabricated and installed the rolled structural steel supporting the home's distinctive curved features, with beams overlapping on different radii, each starting and ending at different points. Achieving this complex geometry required precise fabrication and careful setout, and we worked closely with the architect from the early design stages to get the steelwork exactly where it needed to be.
The build was a true team effort, and credit goes to SC Projects and the builders on site — projects like this come together when everyone is on the same page. The completed home shows how structural steel can quietly enable ambitious architectural design, and we're proud to have played our part in an award-winning result.
